Warmly greeted by 2 women, shared great conversation as we watched them make our delicious subs. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Place was filled with memorabilia, was awesome looking around at all the knick knacks that filled the restaurant. Devoured the sub before thinking about snapping a pic.
I'm guessing an update will append to my prior review. First, I went to their website and saw that they've been serving folks since 1995. I don't know why it says that because a group of buddies and I were coming here in '73-'74. I've never really been a fan, but I was craving something last night and I noticed a blurb on their menu. I ordered a regular bomber with their meatball sauce. It was amazing. I love meatball subs, but they disintegrate so quickly. This is a regular sub, but with chopped meatball sauce. It was the perfect combination. It's not another variation of a Philly cheesesteak. It's not another roll with Italian cold cuts. It's its own thing and I liked it a lot. Too bad it took me 50 years to discover it.
The subs are great, large, and very tasty. Their signature seasoned oil goes much better on the sub than I would have imagined. I recommend trying it. I have been there 3 times and now consider my go-to sub stop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My orders have been quick. Just a great family styled place to visit.
Long time go to for east coast style subs. Started in early 70's and still going strong. Great subs or bombers as they call them. I usually get a 6" double meat on Italian bread with all the veggies and seasonings. I love them always fresh made right in front of you. Dino's Subs are a close second, but I have eating bombers for almost fifty years and they are always spot on! They are on Pioneer parkway in west Arlington. Try them, I' am sure you will agree!
Awesome food. Fantastic service the 3 ladies that run the place are awesome. I went there after a 40 year gap. Glad to see it has still got its old charm
This place has been around sine the 70's so you know they are doing something right !!! You have to get the meat sauce on your Bomber !!! Its life changing !!!
You won't find a better or more authentic sub anywhere! We're from New England and this is the closest taste profile to the Sub Galley subs in the suburbs of Boston! Fresh baked rolls, a great dill relish and a perfect portion of cut veggies and dressing! Splurge and get the Double Meat Supreme!!!
Need to update still a great sub sandwich or bomber sandwich. Freshest bread wonderful relish seasoning they put on the sub. Bunch of meat on the double bomber with fresh vegetables. Made to order fast friendly service. Get them to go or eat in the place. They do make large orders for parties call ahead. They have plenty of items to choose from. Great place for a sandwich.
